Check-in at the door

Check people in at the door with a phone: open the event's Check-in screen, scan the QR on the buyer's ticket email, and admit them. You can also search for an attendee by name or use a guest list when someone isn't in the system.

How it works

  • Open the event's Check-in tab in the dashboard (or the door-staff check-in view).
  • Scan the QR on the buyer's ticket email — the screen shows the result (valid / already used / unknown).
  • Search to find an attendee manually and admit them.
  • Use the guest list for invited guests who aren't in the ticket system.

Admitting when a scan fails

If a scan returns a problem but the person is legitimately at the event, Owners and Managers can use the "Admit anyway" override to let them in. Door staff don't have this override — that's the owner's/manager's call.

Door staff

Door staff are created per event by the organiser. Their access is scoped to that one event only — a door-staff member can't open other events' check-in. They're not standing team seats, so they don't count against your plan's team seats.

After check-in

Checked-in attendees update the event's attendance data, which feeds the Attendees tab and your analytics.
