Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2 August 2026
1. Who we are
TimbaTicket is a software platform that lets event organisers sell tickets online. The platform is provided by TimbaTicket (a company registered in England and Wales — registered details to be confirmed before these terms are published). You can contact us at support@timbaticket.com.
2. Your ticket is bought from the organiser, not from us
When you buy a ticket through this platform, your contract is with the event organiser who created the event — not with TimbaTicket. TimbaTicket supplies the software that makes the sale possible; the organiser supplies the event. This means questions about the event itself (date, venue, content, postponement or cancellation) are for the organiser to answer.
3. Payment
Your payment is processed securely by Square, a licensed payment provider, and is paid directly to the organiser's Square account. TimbaTicket never receives, holds or controls the money you pay for a ticket. Any platform fees owed by an organiser are separate and are settled between the organiser and TimbaTicket.
4. Tickets and check-in
After payment you receive a ticket containing a QR code. You must present it (electronically or printed) at the event for check-in. A ticket is a revocable licence to attend the event, and it may not be resold unless the organiser allows it. Tickets are non-transferable between events.
5. Refunds and cancellations
Because the sale is between you and the organiser, refunds are decided by the organiser. Some events are marked as no-refund at the point of purchase. Please see the Refund Policy for details of how refunds and cancellations work.
6. Your information
Your personal data (name, email, phone and purchase details) is processed to deliver your ticket and is shared with the organiser so they can run the event. Please see the Privacy Policy for the full picture, including who is the data controller and your rights.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with the platform, or to attempt to access areas you are not authorised to access.
8. Our liability
TimbaTicket provides the platform as-is and its software may be used by organisers to sell tickets to their events. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TimbaTicket is not liable for the events themselves — including their legality, content, quality, venue or cancellation — which remain the organiser's responsibility. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, and the date above shows when it was last updated. Continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
