Where does ticket money go?
To your own Square account. At every sale Square splits the payment: the platform fee to TimbaTicket, the rest to your merchant account. Before you connect Square, payments run on TimbaTicket's shared Square account.
How much is the platform fee?
Per ticket: £0.60 on Start, £0.45 on Grow, £0.35 on Pro, charged from ticket one — there's no free allowance.
Absorbed vs passed-through fees?
- Absorbed — buyer pays exactly the ticket price; the fee comes out of your proceeds.
- Passed through — the per-ticket fee is added to the buyer's price.
The effective policy is the event's override, else the account default, else absorbed.
Do I need a card to sign up?
No. You get a free 30-day trial with no card required.
