Attendee FAQ
Do I need an account to buy tickets?
No. TimbaTicket uses guest checkout — you just enter your name and email address. There's no account to create or log in to.
Where are my tickets?
Your tickets are sent to the email address you entered at checkout. Look for an email with the subject "Your tickets for [event name]". Each ticket includes a QR code image and a reference number. Check your spam folder if you can't find it.
There is no online ticket wallet — the confirmation email is your ticket.
Can I view my tickets online?
Not yet. Your tickets live in your confirmation email. If you lost the email, contact the organiser (see Contacting the organiser) and ask them to re-send it.
What payment methods are accepted?
TimbaTicket accepts card payments processed securely through Square. The event organiser never sees your card details.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Payments are processed by Square, a certified payment provider. Your card details are handled entirely by Square and are never stored by the event organiser or TimbaTicket.
Why doesn't the total show my discount?
Discount codes are applied on the Square payment page, not in the checkout summary you see before being redirected. You'll see the correct discounted total once you're on the Square payment page.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are decided by the event organiser, not by TimbaTicket. Check the event's refund policy (shown on the event page before you buy), then contact the organiser directly. See Refunds & cancelled bookings for details.
The event was cancelled — where's my refund?
If the organiser cancels the event, contact them directly to arrange a refund. TimbaTicket does not automatically issue refunds when an event is cancelled.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No. Show the ticket image on your phone at the door. If your phone dies, you can quote your 6-character reference number instead.
My QR code doesn't work at the door
Try increasing your screen brightness. If it still doesn't scan, the door staff can look you up by your reference number or name.
How do I contact the organiser?
Reply to your confirmation email (if the organiser set a support email) or check the event page for contact details. See Contacting the organiser for all options.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Not through self-service. Contact the organiser directly — they can update the ticket holder name from their dashboard.
