Manage members & roles
Once someone has been invited to your team, you can manage their access from the Team section of your dashboard.
Viewing your team
Go to Team in your dashboard. You will see a list of every member in your organisation, with their email and current role.
Changing a member's role
- Next to the member's name, use the role dropdown (it shows their current role).
- Select the new role: Owner, Manager or Team.
- The change takes effect immediately.
Who can change whose role
- Owner can change anyone's role, including other Owners and Managers.
- Manager can only change Team members to a different role. A Manager cannot promote or demote another Manager or an Owner.
- Team members cannot change anyone's role.
If you do not see the dropdown next to a member, you do not have permission to change their role.
Resending an invite
If a member has not accepted their invite yet, you will see a Resend invite link next to their name. Click it to send a new invite email with a fresh link.
Removing a member
- Click Remove next to the member's name.
- Confirm the removal.
Removing a member revokes their access to your organisation's dashboard and data. It does not delete their TimbaTicket account — they can still log in and belong to other organisations.
You cannot remove yourself. If you need to leave an organisation, ask another Owner to remove you.
Role permissions at a glance
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything: financial & sales reports, orders, analytics, refunds, full event management, settings, branding. Can invite or remove anyone. |
| Manager | Runs events day-to-day: create/edit/publish events, ticket types, discount codes, door-staff setup, media. Sees financial & sales reports, orders and analytics. Can invite or remove Team members only. Cannot issue refunds or manage Owners/Managers. |
| Team | Check-in only: views events (read-only), views/downloads attendees, checks guests in. No editing, no financial data, no team management. |
Other organisations
If a team member also belongs to another organisation, you will see a note under their name indicating this. It does not affect their access to your organisation — it is purely informational.
