Invite a team member
You can add people to your organisation so they can help manage your events. Each person is assigned a role that controls what they can see and do.
Roles
| Role | Can do | Cannot do |
|---|---|---|
| Owner | Everything — billing, settings, team management, event creation, publishing, refunds | — |
| Manager | Create and edit events, manage orders, issue refunds, manage door staff, view analytics | Change billing, manage team, access settings |
| Team | View orders, check in attendees, manage guest lists | Create events, publish, refund, access settings |
See Roles & permissions for the full breakdown.
How to invite someone
- Go to Settings in the main navigation
- Find the Team section
- Click Invite Member
- Enter their email address
- Choose their role (Owner, Manager, or Team)
- Click Send Invite
The person will receive an email with a link to set their password and join your organisation.
The invited person does not need a TimbaTicket account already. The invite email includes a link to create one.
What happens after the invite
- The invite appears as Pending until the person clicks the link and sets their password
- Once they accept, they appear as an active member in the Team section
- They can immediately log in and access the features their role allows
Managing members
From the Team section in Settings, you can:
- Change a member's role — click the role dropdown next to their name
- Remove a member — click the remove button and confirm. They will lose access immediately
Removing a member does not cancel any pending invites. If you invited someone and then removed them before they accepted, the invite link becomes invalid.
Event-level access (collaboration)
If your events involve multiple organisations (e.g. co-promoters), you can use the Collaboration feature to grant event-level access to people from other organisations. This is separate from organisation-level team membership.
See the Team tab of any event for collaboration settings.
