Beta Programme Terms
Last updated: 23 August 2026
1. What "Closed Beta" means
TimbaTicket is currently in a closed beta. That means the product is still being built and tested with a small number of organisers, by invitation and manual review, before it is generally available. Being accepted into the beta does not create an open-ended subscription — it is a trial period on the terms set out below.
2. What you get during the beta
Every feature is active and free for your first 30 days from approval. There is no separate beta fee and no credit card is required to take part. At the end of the 30 days, we will contact you about moving to a paid plan (see the Organiser Agreement) — nothing is charged automatically without you agreeing to it first.
3. The beta is provided "as is"
Beta software can contain bugs, incomplete features, or behaviour that changes without notice. You use the beta at your own risk, on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee the beta will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose, and we make no promises about response times or support during this period beyond reasonable effort.
4. Features and terms can change
We may add, change, suspend, or remove beta features at any time, and may end the beta programme itself at any time, with or without notice. If we do, we will tell you what it means for your account and your events — we will not simply switch off access to events you have already published without warning you first.
5. One organisation per applicant
The beta is scoped to one organisation per applicant. If you need a second organisation (for example, a separate brand or venue), contact us — this is a current beta limitation, not a permanent rule.
6. Data during the beta
We do not plan to delete your data when the beta ends, and real ticket sales, orders, and attendee data are treated with the same care as in the finished product. That said, because this is pre-release software, back up anything critical to you outside the platform, and understand that a beta-specific issue could, in rare cases, affect data created during this period.
7. Our liability during the beta
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TimbaTicket's liability to you for your use of the beta is limited to the amount (if any) you have paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost opportunity, arising from bugs, downtime, or changes to the beta. Nothing in this document limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded (for example, for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence).
8. Feedback
We will ask for your feedback during and at the end of your beta period. We may use what you tell us to improve TimbaTicket, but we will not publish your feedback attributed to you without asking first.
9. After the beta
Once TimbaTicket is generally available, or once your 30-day trial ends, these Beta Terms stop applying and the standard Organiser Agreement governs your account going forward.
10. Governing law
This document is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
